Terms and Conditions

It is understood that Ink Scribbler is commissioned for the project because of its signature style. Projects may be expected to explore around our design aesthetics. We refrain from creating cartoons, caricatures, illustrations of couples, and other similar elements.

 

Ink Scribbler owns the copyright of the artworks (calligraphy, watercolor designs, maps, illustrations and other works). These cannot be used and reproduced for profit or non-profit outside the project scope without explicit consent. For other wedding collaterals (e.g, cards, signage) only the monogram may be reused. You may ask us to layout for your other wedding materials.

FULL INVITATION SUITE

  • Additional costs to the design such as additional layout, honeymoon fund cards, etc. are charged separately.
  • Pegs for the artwork must be submitted along with the text needed for the design.
    • Choose only 2-3 pegs for your invitation to avoid confusion and to give room for the artists to create something uniquely for you. However, if you would like to be specific on portions of your invitation please point out which portion in your peg should we look into further
    • Pegs (photos for inspiration) are only used as inspiration and are not copied, the artists will not copy any of the pegs used or recreate them to avoid copyright issues.
  • For specific colors, please send the pantone codes.
    • These codes will not be used for the watercolor artworks; we will use a color, which is closest to your shade for the artwork.
  • For watercolor designs, a sketch will be sent first for approval before we proceed with coloring.
    • Should there be any changes to the artwork after approval there will be a re-sketch fee will be charged
  • The artwork submitted must be approved first before we proceed with layout of the text. Once the artwork is approved, no more changes can be done to the artwork.
    • Should there be any changes to the artwork after approval there will be a re-sketch fee will be charged
  • A maximum of 10 revisions can be made for the invitation, not counting the initial design. A maximum of 3 revisions for the calligraphy not including the initial design.
    • Revisions in excess of the allotted will be charged a revision fee. This is to encourage you to compile all comments in one send and to avoid the delay in process of the project. We will alarm you on the 9th revision. :)
    • Revisions pertain to spelling errors, additional names, and changes in the following but not limited to alignment, spacing, layouts, color, calligraphy, etc.
    • Clients are encouraged to compile all comments for each revision; there is no limitation to the number of comments for each revision.
  • Turn around time is 5-7 working days for the first draft and 4-5 days for each revision. Each re-sketch will take 5-7 working days.
  • Be mindful of your deadline before proceeding with this project. Designing usually takes 1.5-2 months and printing takes around 1 month. We don’t wan’t to rush the artists and the printer!
  • Rushed projects are projects completed less than 1.5 months. A rush fee of 20% will be charged to prioritize the project. 50% of the fee will be paid to begin the project while remaining balance is paid upon completion. Turnaround time will be 4-5 working days for the first draft, 3-4 working days for each revision.

INVITATION SUITE FROM THE COLLECTION

  • The package includes the following:
    • Existing Portfolio Design
    • Couple’s Name in Calligraphy to be included in the Main invite
    • Customized Color Motif
    • Main Invite, Entourage, RSVP
    • Monogram
  • Additional costs to the design such as additional layout, map and attire, etc. are charged separately.
  • The names of the couple on the main invite and monogram will be customised. While the headers will remain the same as part of the design of the suite chosen.
  • The overall look of the suite will remain the same with minor changes. Only the color of the invite can be changed. The font and the layout of the suite cannot be altered.
  • For specific colors, please send the pantone codes.
  • These codes will not be used for the watercolor artworks; we will use a color, which is closest to your shade for the artwork.
  • Choose the Suite you like. Note any color changes needed to be done to fit your theme.
  • You will be given 2 options for the design of the monogram and have a maximum of 2 revisions for the calligraphy of the monogram, not counting the initial design.
  • 
Please specify the binders (&, and, <3) in your form.

  • Revisions in excess will be charged Php300.00 each revision. This is to encourage you to compile all comments in one send and to avoid the delay in process of the project. We will alarm you on the 4th revision. J

  • Clients are encouraged to compile all comments for each revision; there is no limitation to the number of comments for each revision.

  • Should you choose to change to a full invitation suite in the middle of the project, only 50% of the payment will be credited to the Full Invitation Suite.
  • Be mindful of your deadline before proceeding with this project. Designing usually takes 1-1.5 months and printing takes around 1 month. We don’t wan’t to rush the artists and the printer!
  • Rushed projects are projects completed less than 1 month. A rush fee of Php1, 200.00 will be charged to prioritize the project. 50% of the fee will be paid to begin the project while remaining balance is paid upon completion. Turnaround time will be 3-4 working days for the first draft, 2-3 working days for each revision.

Monograms

  • Maximum of 5 revisions for the layout, maximum of revisions for the calligraphy.
    • Revisions in excess will be charged a fee for each revision.
  • Specify the exact name/initals to be written in your monogram.
    • Include the binder of the monogram (and, &, <3,etc.)
  • Please note that the initial deisgn will still be polished as we progress in the project.
  • Turn-around time
    •  3-4 working days for the first draft
    •  2-3 working days for succeeding drafts
  • Rushed projects are projects completed less than 1.5 weeks. A rush fee of 20% will be charged to prioritize the project. 50% of the fee will be paid to begin the project while remaining balance is paid upon completion. Turnaround time will be 2 working days for the first draft, 1 working days for each revision.

MAP AND ATTIRE PAGE

  • A copy of the map should be sent along with the from the collection form.
    • (Ex. Google maps snap shot showing the church to the reception)
  • Choose between a digital or watercolor design before having the process started, our default design is watercolor.
  • Take note of specific landmarks you would like to show in the map.
  • Maximum of 5 revisions only
    • Revisions in excess will be charged a fee each revision.
    • Revisions pertain to spelling errors, additional names, and changes in the following but not limited to alignment, spacing, layouts, color, calligraphy, etc.

1 PAGE LAYOUT

Revisions

  • We love to know what you think of each of our creations.
  • We carefully draft each design despite how quickly the turn around time may be.
  • Should you would want something changed, just let us know.
  • Choose to only suggest 1-3 options only for each portion of the card. It gets a bit confusing when we are given 4 or more options.
  • For us to easily grasp your suggestions, please send us photos on how you would like the design to look like.  :)
  • We love bullet points, let’s make each bullet count!
  • Let’s stay away from negative feelings and be happy; if you don’t like something let’s change it to the way you want it. We’ll always do our best to get to the right design.

CHINESE INVITATION

  • An excel form with the chinese characters placed in separate cells must be submitted for us to create a layout without the characters
  • If no file is submitted, we will be able to show the layout, the Chinese characters will be shown during the mock print.
PROJECT Completion
  • Upon Project close, the final file will be submitted. You may request any file as long as we can provide the format. The standard file we use would be Adobe Illustrator, High Resolution PDF, JPG formats.
    • Some files will be sent through a third party file transfer systems due to the limitations for file sharing of our mailbox provider. The download link will be provided.
  • Upon receipt of the mock print should you choose to revise any part of the invitation, the reopening fee will be implemented. Only printing elements will be free of charge. Re-opening projects will have a re-opening fee of Php500.00 for 3 revisions only.
  • This applies to all projects

Printing

  • We are a design agency. We can help coordinate with a printer for you.
  • Coordination for printing will only be confirmed only when designs are completed. The printing project is only accepted if there is enough time for printing given our timelines. The client may also opt to have the designs printed with a different supplier.
  • Printing rates are charged separately from the design rate and are quoted depending on the size, number of cards, and elements of the invitation.
  • Mock Print is started upon approval of all elements of the design
    • Mock print is done within 15 working days
  • Full printing of the designs will commence once the mock print is approved.
    • Full printing is done within 10-15 working days
  • For clients who will not avail our printing services, kindly advise your supplier not to use the artwork after the project.
  • Once full printing is done, there is no refund on the invitations printed.
