Parts of a Wedding Invitation

Here's a quick guide on the parts on a wedding invitation. Not all should necessarily be added but some upgrades make it much more personal!
  1. Main CardThe centerpiece of the invitation, detailing the couple’s names, wedding date, time, and venue.
  2. EnvelopeThe outer covering that holds the invitation suite, typically featuring the couple’s names and return address, adding an elegant touch.
  3. RSVP CardA card for guests to confirm their attendance, usually including options for meal choices and a space for additional comments.
  4. Entourage CardIntroduces the wedding party, showcasing their roles and relationships to the couple, adding a personal touch to the invitation suite.
  5. Details / Venue CardProvides additional information about the venue, accommodations, and any other relevant details guests might need to know.
  6. Chinese Invitation CardA special card featuring traditional wording and designs to honor cultural customs.
  7. Timeline and Gifts InfoOutlines the schedule of events for the wedding day and may include a note about gift preferences or registries.
  8. Pocketfold JacketA stylish folded card that holds all invitation components securely, providing a polished and organized presentation.
  9. WrapA decorative specialty paper that encircles the invitation suite, adding an extra layer of elegance and cohesiveness.
  10. Twine / ThreadA rustic touch, this simple string can be used to tie the suite together, enhancing the overall aesthetic with a charming detail.
  11. Wax SealA traditional element that adds a vintage flair, used to seal the envelope and often featuring a unique design or monogram.

These are the common parts and terms that we use. Many of these upgrades are optional, and it is also not recommended to get ALL of them together.
